Woohooo!

Ronaldo is in simpy sincilating form! Another 2 great goals ensures ManUtd go back top of the table where they belong, pushing Arsenal back to 2nd place on goal difference.

The young lad has now scored 27 goals and fingers crossed, will be able to erase the record for the highest scoring winger in a season for United currently held by the legendary George Best with 32 goals during the brilliant 1967-68 season.

With a few more months before the season draws to a close, no one dares bet against this guy and with Paul Scholes returning after a long injury lay-off, the Treble looms closer for the Red side of Manchester!

This is rather late in coming, but who cares. CNY isn't here yet, so I'm not THAT late.

I'm not quite the fan of new year resolutions, being a firm believer that any period could be a period of change but what I do believe in, is the motivation that these resolutions can bring to someone. Heh.

I will :
1. Gain at least 5 kg this year! (you better believe it...)
2. Improve my Ein-ga-lish.
3. Gain a deeper insight into all things pertaining to my faith. Reexamine my status with God.
4. Remember these resolutions.
5. Stop sprouting out crap and instead sprout out branches of wisdom and maturity.
6. Smile! =) and no more of airs and graces!
7. PLAY the guitar and stop being a guitar hero.
8. Get a gf this year! (nah! just kidding)
9. Drink the substance once considered potent to me. MILK.
10. Be WISE before entrusting myself into buying some useless toy that'll not be used for the next 20 years of my life. (Better financing in a simple word)
11. Be honest with myself and others.
12. Be organised this year. If this calls for lesser leisure time, so be it. (Fuyoh...)

I will not :
1. Get hooked to any forms of gamer's temptation and the internet when sem 2 starts.
2. Procrastinate.
3. Forget these resolutions.
4. Be a night zombie. (When sem starts anyway)
5. Do things that'll cross the borderline between good and evil.

So there it is, the dreams and aspirations of Joash Wee.

Heathcliff Andrew Ledger (April 4, 1979–January 22, 2008)

Absolutely shocking. I just came to know of this from Jac as have been spending the past day over at granny's place catching up with the Australian Open.

This is the guy who brought you '10 Things I Hate About You', 'The Patriot', 'A knight's Tale', 'Monster's Ball', 'Casanova', 'Brokeback Mountain', 'Lords Of Dogtown' and we will be seeing him playing the role of the Joker in his final movie 'The Dark Knight'.

I just have to rule out suicide on this. This guy has everything  going for him (or it seems) and with a 2 year old daughter, has everything to live for.

Just to advertise for one band that's continually making boundary bursting music. I've always
been a
Switchfoot fan and had always like the fact that some of their songs requires me to listen twice before getting used to 'em. But they're good at what they do and they IMO rock much harder (and sound daintier) compared to all the boy,emo,bands-with-eyeliners bands out there.

Opening acts are Love Me Butch and
ALTERED FREQUENCY!! Am really happy for the AF lads with landing this gig. The boys are making great strides in the music scene and deserves so! Now
if only their album would just hurry out of the production house!

I'm STILL clinging on to any hope there's left to go. But with me in Muar, I don't think this dream will materialise. But I'm refusing to let this gig pass me by just in this manner. No Sireee....

Oh, and for all the
Y.E.S readers, the pictures from my cam is up! CLICK !

The videos will be uploaded into Youtube. Will provide the link once completed.

Cheers and Great sleep everyone!

WOOHOOO!! Me back! Me back from Y.E.S ! Me loves it veli veli muchie!

Pardons for the jargon, but I'm still on a high and rolling and rooting for Y.E.S. There not a single tinge of regret going for this camp. Everything about it was
great. And I like it when the pastors said,"It's not by mere chance or coincidence that all of you are here."Amen.
Nothing can beat the fellowship, tears and laughter we went through together. We are conquerors!

On a personal note, it was a time of refreshing, a time of commitment, submission, rededicating my life to my saviour. I've realise that if God isn't in the front seat, there isn't much to live for.
Trust me, I've countless times been in situations
where I lived according to my wisdom, my way
, without setting aside time for Him.
I guess going back to the root is what matters at the end of the day. And the root is spending time with Him everyday.

I took quite a few videos particularly during the presentation night. So, I'll be posting it up soon!

I've been catching up on sleep ever since returning home. Got home late last night with my family. Had a bout of flu again. Am feeling much better but my nose is still running.

I'm missing all my friends, all the times, the 10 days we were forced to live with each other. Haha. It's amazing how such strong bonds can exist after only 10 days. I'll definitely miss the times in Y.E.S but I know this isn't the last time I'll see them. Hopefully all can make it to next year's dinner! Y.E.S 2008 alumni!

I'll definitely blog more on it later on. Will try to gather as many pictures as possible la. Hard to get hold of everyone.

Y.E.S has basically kick started my year into greater expectation from God and to walk closer in His path. This will be a year of breakthroughs!

Amen!

And Tuki Tuki rocks!

Noticed any difference to my blog? Yes sireee... I've just successfully managed to notch up the level of complicatedness. I've added a few extra candies just for the heck of it and added a profile too. Pardon the ramblings from it though, that's who I am. So take it or leave it.

I'm feeling especially proud of the header. It shows comic supremo The Flash strutting his stuff. I pray that you can notice the connection hey ho?

I've redone the links column and sincere apologies to those who have been waiting since the beginning of age for me to relink/link them.

Soooo, if there's anything abominable to your eyes or your link name needs renaming, leave a comment!

Cheerios.

Hey! Hey! A blessed new year to all! 2007 has made it's final bow and it has definitely been one heck of a ride. A new day has arrived, a new era has dawned and 2008 is here to come!

I can attest that 2007 has seen it's ups and downs for me. I have lost a very precious friend which is tough to understand and accept, but God's ways are higher than my ways and His thoughts higher than it'll ever be than mine. Who am I to question? With each situation there is a purpose which though not comprehensible forthwith, will shine it's light in the mist of it all.

Sorrow may last for the night, but Joy comes in the morning! Veron, thanks for the memories.

A flicker of light, dawns up the room,
Smile like the stars, beams through effulgent.

God has blessed me with a scholarship even though my stpm results weren't exactly the cream of the crop. I did well, but there are many who did just as well, if not better. All I can say is : His timing and plan. In 2005, I trusted Him by entering form 6, delving right into the very affairs that I detest : Book studying, cramming facts that I'm not sure I'll remember 1 year down the line. I had the faith and believe that something good would come out of all this. What it was, I wasn't sure then. I enjoyed myself though, was given numerous oppurtunities, met new homies and matured a lil in the process too. And at the end of it, God deserves all the glory for giving me this scholarship.

Being in the area of communication has always been what I wanted ever since secondary school and I feel blessed to be doing just that now. And being under the Uni of south Oz is just another added bonus. I've finish 1st sem and am in the middle of summer break. A big sympathy to those out there just about starting a new sem. HAHA!

But to be completely honest, I'm actually missing college and all that comes with it. The assignments, wacky friends, not so wacky lecturers and the sometimes not-so-tasty food.

To all my friends out in Kl esp those in the subang/sunway region: I miss ya' all much and I'll see ya guys in march! I'll miss you guys all the more knowing that J.co has open! You lucky people....

To sum it all up, 2007 has been a year of lessons, pain, failures and in the mist of it all, rising up and holding on to the hope, blessings and grace of the Almighty. There is still much for me to learn and to adopt. Here's to 2008!

From me to all my beautiful and dainty readers :

A BLESSED AND AWESOME 08!

LET'S GEAR UP FOR MORE!
