Had a great time with my friends in malacca yesterday. As there were girls in our mist, this trip was almost all shopping focused.

We had a stop at A'FARMOSA RESORT first. Yong shyang had some business documents he wanted to settle. Spend a longer than expected time there unfortunately.

Then, we missed the highway exit to malacca. In fact, so engrossed we were in talking, it was a good 15 minutes before we realised it. More time lost.

On to MAHKOTA PARADE. Honestly, im quite sick and bored of that place. I NEARLY bought a couple of cds from INVERNO again. Thankfully, i resisted. haha. Budget not good la. I guess the only highlights of mahkota parade for me was watching MR BEAN'S HOLIDAY and my new giordano shirt (the plain black one. Im not really into their current designs).

Next stop was DATARAN PAHLAWAN which was just opposite mahkota. This is my first visit to the newly constructed place. Honestly, i'm quite bowled over by the construction of it. Don't let it's outer appearance fool you. Underneath it is a really cool designed mall. Sleek.

The girls did MORE shopping. To kill time, we guys decided to climb ST PAUL'S HILL. We promptly entered St Paul's church. For some reason, the lights around St Peter's hill wasn't lit. So, the old church was kinda dark. We had to use mobile phones to find our way around. Add in some enormous tombstones and it gets really exciting. One thing i've noticed about the hill : There's a lot of cats around. Honestly.

Later we wanted to eat dinner at JONKER WALK. But unfortunately, MANY stalls weren't open that night. I was disappointed and i guess my friends were too. So, we adjoined to a nearby food market where i savoured some really hot sotong and curry. So hot was it in fact, that i had to buy 3 glasses of drinks. And that's a new record by joash wee who for the first time, had to use 3 glasses of water to relinquish the spiciness of the food and his thirst.

Then it rained. I guess that speaks for itself.

Arriving back in muar, we still had it in us to go for a meal of fried sotong. What can i say? We ADORE sotong.

SOTONG, SOTONG, SOTONG, SOTONG, SOTONG, SOTONG IS AMAZING!
